The
home has been opened since 1984 and is owned by Mr & Mrs Paterson,
Their daughter Joanne has been the registered manager for 5 years.
Upton Cottage is registered with National Care Standards Commission
and is a member of ARCHA (Avon Registered Care Homes Association.)
We have a full staff team who are either qualified NVQ2 - 3 or
are awaiting to undertake the relevant training, Induction training
is undertaken within the first 6 months of recruiting new staff.
There are 3 care staff on in the morning along with 1 manager,
1 domestic, cook and our handyman / driver. Evenings we have 3
care staff with 2 doing the sleep-overs.
